Below is the front view of Forest Edge. Keep in mind that we just opened on December 26th 2000 and the pictures were taken on March 3rd 2001. The yard is seeded and grass should begin to grow shortly once the weather warms up a bit (and all of the trees except for the pines to the left of the shot look like that in the winter time ;) ).
Now a view of the rear of Forest Edge from the woods. Notice the large area for parking as well as a garage for each unit under the deck. The deck has two hinged doors which allow for one long deck if all 3 units are rented by one party, or 3 private decks if the units are rented by individual parties.

Here is a more current photo of Forest Edge, the grass has come in nicely since the photos above. Also notice the new picnic area with 2 grills and 2 tables for cooking out with family and friends.

A feeling of "just like home" pervails throughout Forest Edge. Enjoy the sites, enjoy the skiing or hiking, enjoy the food, theater, museums, shopping, or festivals, but after your day has come to an end, enjoy the feeling of coming home.

The first picture is another view from the living room toward the kitchen. If you'd then go down the hall to the front door and make a right there is a clothes washer/dryer and a coat closet as seen in the second picture.

As you can see Forest Edge offers a full kitchen. Refrigerator/freezer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, can opener, toaster, coffee pot, a little radio with cassette for atmosphere, and yes, even the kitchen sink ;). But you do have to bring your own food (not a problem with local food stores nearby for the basics or simply bring food from home :) ).

Now a view of the living room. The sofa bed will sleep two. A tv and vcr with basic cable service provide entertainment (local merchants offer movie rentals or bring your own from your hometown movie place like we do :) ). The doors lead out to the back deck that you saw in the picture of the rear of Forest Edge near the top of this page. (Notice there are no steps going up to the deck in that picture for privacy).

In the first picture, a view of the living room from the kitchen. In the second picture a view of the fireplace from the table, the fireplace is sure to set the mood for a warm relaxing night.

Now the master bedroom.

And finally, the spare bedroom.

After our trip I realized I didn't take any pictures of the bathrooms. The first floor bathroom is a half bath, the second floor bathroom is a full bath and is located in between the two bedrooms shown above. Below is a picture that I took of the upstairs hallway, the door to the right is the spare bedroom, the middle door is the full bath and the left door is the master bedroom.
